Egg Dying Disaster
Day 36: Work with food dye.
Let me just start by saying Easter egg dying was SO MUCH more fun when Mom was in charge of the egg prepping. I quite prefer my naive mentality now that I know the seemingly endless process you encounter BEFORE you can even think about turning those little white eggs any sort of color. A note to those who embark...

Diet Coke & A Dream
Day 31: Use a new ingredient to bake
I had to come to terms with the fact that there would inevitably be ‘failures’ along the way; Trial & Error, per say. In the past, I have successfully made eggless cakes using sprite (for white cakes) or diet coke (for dark cakes). Being without the necessary brownie ingredients, I thought I’d try my luck and adapt the trick....

The Never Ending Game of Catch Up
Alrighty, let’s get on top of this! Boy, oh boy. Did I learn quickly how easy it is to get off course! One missed day turns into four missed days… turns into… A MONTH BEHIND?? I’ll admit, the catch up process has been both stressful and anxiety ridden, but let’s be honest; Sometimes life gets in the way! And you know what? It’s totally fine! Though I have...
